Play Therapy

Play Therapy for children with an emotional age of 3 to 14.

Play therapy improves the emotional well being of the child and can alleviate an emotional or psychological problem that is preventing the child from functioning normally.

I use a variety of play and creative methods including music, dance and movement, sand tray, puppets, art and storytelling where I enable the child to unlock their potential, make sense of their experiences and express their feelings.

Therapeutic play can benefit children who are

  • not realizing their potential
  • having frequent nightmares or disturbed sleep
  • at risk of being/are excluded from school
  • suffering from anxiety, stress or phobias
  • adopted or fostered
  • affected by separated/divorced parents
  • withdrawn or continually unhappy

    or who have

  • suffered emotional, physical or sexual abuse
  • suffered a loss or bereavement
  • suffered a trauma

I have a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check certificate.
